Brad Fischer PT, MSPT

Owner and Manager of Battle Mountain Physical Therapy

 Brad Fischer grew up on a small family farm.  He, like many, felt the call to serve his country and served both at home and abroad in the United States Marine Corps.   He pursued both undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of South Dakota.  In 2005, Brad received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of South Dakota.

 

 Brad has practiced in multiple settings with many patients from new born to centurions over the past 12 years.  He enjoys helping people reduce pain, improve performance, return to active lifestyles.  He has continued to further his knowledge in manual therapies, sports medicine, orthopedics, wound care, and pain management.  He opened Battle Mountain Therapy to pursue his passion and dream of offering quality outpatient physical therapy services to the people of the Black Hills where he and his wife Brittany reside. 

Brad understands that medical education is an ongoing process and, as such, continues to supplement his university education with courses that include:

  • Jones Strain Counterstrain for spine and extremities.

  • Evaluation and treatment of foot and ankle dysfunction and orthotics prescription

  • Spine and extremity mobilization and manipulation

  • Cervical and Lumbar spine stabilization

  • Chronic pain syndromes, osteoporosis

  • Conservative management and treatment of the spine, shoulder, hip, knee, elbow

  • Therapeutic taping techniques

 

Mr. Fischer is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Orthopedic and Private Practice sections.

Brad most enjoys a hands-on approach to therapy. He also enjoys providing the education and tools to allow patients to manage their health and treat themselves.
